Stereo Embers reunites for their first show in over four years, returning to the Sunset Tavern on September 12 with the hook-heavy melodic rock that made them one of Seattle’s most explosive live bands. Stereo Embers

The stacked lineup also includes Golden West, the “dirty sexy Americana” outfit powered by Kim Virant’s vocals and Kathy Moore’s searing guitar, bringing a soulful, gritty tone to the rock-fueled night. Golden West

Seola Station opens the night with high-energy smoky folk rock, delivering poems with a rock heartbeat and dual-guitar groove that blend the lyricism of Fiona Apple and Leonard Cohen with the raw musicality of Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Seola Station

Seola Station - Rock Band - Brett "Pauly" Woodbury, Matt Wetherholt, Ruth Haney, Brian Sykes, and Chad Konsak

Seola Station is smoky folk rock - heavy on the rock.

Their songs are poems with a rock heartbeat and a dual-guitar groove that blend the lyricism of Fiona Apple and Leonard Cohen with the raw musicality of Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Luminous, emotionally charged vocals draw comparisons to Patti Smith and PJ Harvey.

Formed in Seattle in 2023, Seola Station features Ruth Haney (vocals), her husband Brian Sykes (bass), Eric Branner (guitar), and Matt Wetherholt (guitar).

The band recorded an EP with Joe Reineke at Temple of the Trees Studio; it was released in 2025.
